UWA Open Day is always a fun day for the Centre to speak with new students about exciting career options in engineering

In March 2023, CEI:AgER showcased its facilities to students from Nagoya University in Japan interested in the UWA-Nagoya University joint PhD program.

The UWA Shenton Park Field Station opens to the public for the first time in nearly 10 years!

On 8 September 2022, the Centre for Engineering Innovation: Agriculture & Ecological Restoration was formally opened by State Innovation Minister The Hon Stephen Dawson MLC.

CEI:AgER hosts Grower Group Alliance and Farmanco at its main Research Facility in Shenton Park.

CEI:AgER Staff Visit Three Farms in rural Western Australia to meet some of Australia’s most innovative farmers, and learn about the unique farming challenges in the state.

Students aged 7-14 complete an ‘Egg Drop Challenge’ designed and run by Dr Wesley Moss as part of the Children’s University Program.

Dr Guzzomi and Dr Peressini volunteer at a day-long engineering bootcamp, and are impressed by the next generation of bright Engineers.

Dr Wesley Moss and Ms Ruby Wiese receive AW Howard fellowship to help fund their agricultural research.
