Agriculture Industry Links and Tech Show-and-Tell

This August, CEI:AgER hosted visitors from two leading Western Australian industry groups: the Grower Group Alliance and Farmanco.

Grower Group Alliance is a thriving state-wide network that seeks to develop grower capacity and foster stronger connections between Western Australian grower groups, researchers, funding bodies and industry. Their vision is a producer-led system of agricultural innovation, adoption and collaboration.

Farmanco is one of the largest independent farm advisors in Australia, and provide advice regarding farm management, agronomy, precision agronomy, grain marketing and bookkeeping services. Their aim is to help farmers maximise their business potential, improve efficiencies, and increase profitability.

The visits included a tour of the CEI:AgER facilities, showcasing some of CEI:AgER’s developed machinery and facilitated discussion around current projects and the broader strategic direction of CEI:AgER.

Having the ability to field questions and suggestions from industry and open up lines of communication with such groups helps ensure that CEI:AgER focuses on addressing real industry issues.
