Education
Outreach
We are committed to inspiring the next generation of agricultural engineers, scientists and innovators, while supporting the current workforce to adapt in a rapidly evolving sector.
Agriculture is one of the world’s most important industries, and in Western Australia it is increasingly driven by advances in engineering, technology and data. From food security and climate resilience to sustainable land management, the challenges facing our future will require skilled, interdisciplinary thinkers.
Through our education and outreach programs, we work with secondary schools and industry to raise awareness of the diverse career pathways in agriculture and to build capability across the sector. We support schools with curriculum-aligned resources, excursions, guest lectures and industry connections, helping students engage with real-world applications of science and engineering. At the same time, we partner with industry to promote career pathways and offer flexible learning opportunities, including microcredentials, to help professionals upskill and stay at the forefront of innovation.
Get Involved
We welcome schools interested in bringing agriculture into their classrooms, as well as industry professionals looking to build skills or contribute to education initiatives.
